Dr. Ehud (Udi) Ganani is the Vice President of Strategic Programs at the EIS Council, responsible for developing and managing key initiatives in Israel and beyond the U.S. He is a co-founder of Contguard Ltd., a global maritime container tracking startup, and a member of the SPECTRUM Group in Alexandria, VA.
From 2005 to 2012, Dr. Ganani held senior roles in high-tech security companies, including CEO and President of Rabintex Industries, CEO and later chairman of TraceGuard Technologies, and chairman of Bird Aerosystems. He also chaired the public advisory committee for Aerospace, Defense, and Homeland Security at the Israeli Export Institute and served on the board of Gilat Satellite Networks.
Previously, he was CEO of Israel Military Industries (2002–2005) and held senior positions at Rafael, where he served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, following an assignment as Vice President of Marketing for Rafael USA. Earlier, from 1986 to 2001, he led Rafael’s rocket motors development group.
Dr. Ganani holds a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
