Dr. Gil Baram is a cyber strategy and policy expert with more than 16 years of experience leading innovative research, lecturing, and consulting senior business leaders and government officials. Her research interests encompass various aspects of emerging technologies, security, and society. Her most recent project dives into the connections between AI and cybercrime and how AI affects cyber threats and techniques.
Dr. Naram’s broader research agenda includes public disclosure of cyberattacks, the role of intelligence agencies in offensive cyber operations, cyber threats to space systems, and more. She is a Senior Lecturer at Bar Ilan University and a non-resident research scholar at the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity and the Berkeley Risk and Security Lab, University of California Berkeley.
