With over 35 years in the higher education sector, working with private and public stakeholders worldwide, Salvatore Moccia is an expert in designing and leading highly innovative educational projects – from double-degree master's programs to executive education and upskilling and reskilling initiatives. He specializes in building leadership, skills, and capabilities to support organizational growth and performance. Moccia is a professor of strategic management, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He serves as the Director of Skills and Education at EIT Digital, a pan-European organization co-funded by the European Union. He is the project coordinator for CYCERONE, the EU project for the development of the Cybersecurity Skills Academy, and for SPECTRO, an EU project designing and delivering a double degree in cybersecurity in cooperation with eight European universities, including specializations in advanced cryptography for quantum and post-quantum computing. He is also a member of the ENISA Ad-Hoc Working Group on Skills Development.
