Managing Director, 8200 Impact, Israel
Leehe Friedman is the Managing Director of 8200Impact, the first accelerator and community in Israel for social and environmental technological startups, led by the 8200 Alumni Association. Friedman has extensive experience in leading strategic planning and research projects in the fields of innovation and national security, including as the coordinator of the Israeli National Initiative for Artificial Intelligence, and co-author of the special report for the prime minister offering a national AI strategy for Israel.
Friedman also served as a research fellow at the Military Transformations Programme (MTP) at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She is currently a lecturer for strategic thinking and national technology capacity building at Reichman University. Friedman is an alumna of the IDF’s elite Unit 8200 and holds a B.A. in Government and an M.A. in Security Studies, both with the highest honors.
