Moshe Friedman is a VC investor and social entrepreneur leading Haredi (Jewish ultra-Orthodox) integration into the Israeli workforce, particularly in the hi-tech industry. He co-founded and serves as CEO at KamaTech, a coalition of 80 large hi-tech companies such as Cisco, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Intel, aimed at aiding Haredis in integrating into the hi-tech industry.
Additionally, Friedman established the KamaTech accelerator for entrepreneurs from the ultra-Orthodox community in Israel. KamaTech has won the prize for the best social program in Israel four times in a row by GeekTime (2015-2016-2018-2019). Friedman also founded 12A, the first-ever venture capital fund to invest in Haredi startups, alongside 100 leaders of the Israeli high-tech industry.
In 2015, Friedman was selected as one of 40 "Digital Leaders of Israel" for a joint leadership program by the Israeli prime minister's office, JDC, and Harvard Business School. TheMarker magazine has recognized him as one of the top 100 most influential people in Israel. Calcalist and Globes magazines named him as one of the 40 under 40 leaders of Israel. and The Algemeiner chose him as one of the top 100 most influential Jewish people in the world.
Friedman, 45, is a married father of six and resides in Bnei Brak, Israel.
