Shay Michel serves as the Managing Partner of Merlin Ventures, where he leads the Tel Aviv office. He brings over 14 years of experience in entrepreneurship and fundraising. Before joining Merlin, he co-founded and managed toDay Ventures, an early-stage fund that collaborates closely with entrepreneurs to develop ideas and transform technology concepts into viable businesses. Michel is himself an experienced entrepreneur who founded three network companies prior to his work at toDay. Shay made Aliyah from Istanbul to Israel in 2004 to join the Israeli army, and after his service decided to make Israel his permanent home.
