Former Director General, Israeli National Cyber Directorate (INCD), Israel
Yigal Unna was appointed by Israel’s Prime Minister as the Director General of the Israel National Cyber Directorate in 2018. In 4 years role, until 2022, Unna reported directly to the Prime Minister, responsible for all aspects of cyber security, including formulating policy and building technological power for operational defense of Israel. Mr. Unna forged long-term relationships with many foreign governments and lectured around the world on cybersecurity. Prior to the INCD, Unna served in the Israel Security Agency also known as Shin Bet, for 23 years, retired as the Director of the Cyber and Sigint Operations Division (equivalent of major general). Overall, Mr. Unna served 33 years in Israel National security – all in cyber security and Data warfare. Today Unna advise to leading and promising Israeli cyber startups and growing enterprises, a venture partner in vc focusing on cyber security, and lead national cyber projects for foreign governments.
