Tom Mahler is a Ph.D. candidate at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) and a graduate researcher at the Cyber Security Research Center (CSRC) at BGU. His primary research interests are anomaly detection based on artificial intelligence (AI) methods, cyber security of medical devices, detection and prevention of cyber attacks on medical devices, and information security risk assessment. His research was published on top conferences (USENIX, RSNA) and was covered by international media (BBC, Washington Post, Forbes, Register). Tom Mahler holds M.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering with a specialization in Cyber Space Security from BGU and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Tel-Aviv University (TAU).
