Hagai Itkin is the chairman of RAMOT, the technology transfer office of Tel Aviv University, chairman of TAU Venture, and director of industry relationships at Tel Aviv University. Since 2023, he has been a partner at I-NEXT Capital, an early-stage digital health venture capital fund. Since 2021, he has served as a consultant and board member for private companies and venture capital firms.
In 2020, Itkin headed the National Command and Control Center for handling the COVID-19 crisis at the Ministry of Health. From 1987 to 2020, he held senior positions in the Israeli government sector, including roles as director of the technological department and director of the strategic department, both in Israel and abroad.
Itkin is also the chairman of Misholim, an NGO focused on therapeutic riding for individuals with special needs, and serves as a board member in various nonprofit organizations supporting at-risk youth.
Itkin holds an MBA from Ben-Gurion University (2007–2010) and a degree in economics and business administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (1996–1999). In 2021, he completed a training program for directors and senior executives at Tel Aviv University.
